Over the years, Brazilian Hair has gained a reputation as the most sought after texture. This hair is in high demand because of its softness, durability and thickness. It is extremely luxurious and very soft, with a lot of body and natural shine. Because of its thickness is less likely to frizz and holds curls longer than other textures.  Volure offers high quality Brazilian Hair that is both Virgin and Remy.  Virgin means that there has been little to no processing done to our Brazilian Hair, leaving it in a healthy and natural state.  Remy means that our Brazilian Hair has intact cuticles which are aligned in the same direction from root to end, thereby reducing tangling that is associated with lower quality hair.  Also known as Brazilian weaves, you simply cannot do better than this sought after hair.
Our Brazilian Hair is typically well suited for those going for a bouncy, wavy and full look. The styles that suit you will depend on a variety of factors, including height, skin tone and facial structure.  Volure's Brazilian hair pieces have been a favourite choice of clients and is typically picked above other hair pieces on offer.
Prices for Brazilian Hair Weaves
We sell our Brazilian hair weaves by the bundle.  Each bundle is approximately 100g.  To get a full look, you need about 3 bundles, depending on the length of the hair.  For 10 to 14 inches, you need about 2 to 3 Brazilian hair bundles; for 16 to 22 inches you will need 3 bundles; and for 24 to 30 inches you will need 4 or more Brazilian hair bundles.  Prices for difference styles - Brazilian straight, body wave, deep wave, curly, etc - are the same.  Our weave prices differ by length only.
Because this hair is relatively thick and dense compared to other textures, you get a relatively fuller look with few Brazilian hair bundles (as compared to other textures).
Occasionally, we put our Brazilian hair for sale at discounts ranging from 10% to 20% or more.  To find our when we have our Brazilian hair for sale, please follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter.
When looking at prices for different weaves, it's important to keep in mind that not all Brazilian hair suppliers are the same. Due to the increase in the demand for Brazilian weaves, there are tons of different suppliers and figuring out which suppliers will offer you quality, original, and reliable Brazilian hair requires a lot of research and patience. However, there are a few tips to help you.  First, remember that a quality authentic virgin Brazilian weave is not cheap.  If you find suppliers offering prices that seem to be very cheap, tread carefully, as there may be a reason for this.  It is likely that those suppliers have cheap weave prices because the hair is of poor quality and you will only notice after wearing it.  Second, remember that you are spending good money and there is no shame is asking lots of questions.  It is always good to find a good supplier who has the best customer service.  Finally, make sure that your Brazilian hair supplier has a refund policy that is fair and reasonable.  If you have problems with your hair within a short period of time, it means the hair is likely to be defective (unless you have not cared for it properly), and you need to be able to exchange or get your money back.  And at the very least, your supplier should offer to help you solve the problem.  Volure Hair Boutique is one of the leading suppliers of authentic Brazilian weaves in South Africa and abroad.  We hold ourselves to a high standard in terms of products and service to our customers.
What is Brazilian Hair?
Picking the right weave can be confusing.  A lot of times clients come seeking a particular type of weave because they've heard it is the best.  Most of the time, clients want a Brazilian weave.  This is because of all the different types of weaves, Brazilian hair has been around the longest and has gained a great reputation. So What is Brazilian Hair? And are Brazilian Weaves the best?
Brazilian hair is any virgin hair (regardless of actual place of origin) that has the following qualities.  Brazilian hair is very smooth and naturally shiny and comes with many different natural hair colors from black to light brown. The hair is very full and thick.  But while being full and dense, it still moves and flows easily. Our Brazilian weaves are very soft, thick, and durable.  The full and dense texture of Brazilian weaves means that they match well with African and other coarse hair types.  Body wave Brazilian hair is the most common example of this type of hair.  This is because a Brazilian weave tends to hold full and bouncy body waves very well.  Volure offers both body wave Brazilian hair, in addition to straight, natural weave and curly styles.
It's good to remember that just because Brazilian hair extensions are extremely popular and have been in the market for some time, does not mean that other weaves such as Peruvian, Malaysian and Indian are not worthwhile. In fact many customers prefer the feel and flow of these hair types over Brazilian hair - at the end of the day, it depends on what you like personally.
Brazilian Weaves Versus Other Weaves
The key difference between Brazilian weaves and other weaves is how the hair feels.  Brazilian weaves tend be very full bodied and thick, but at the same time soft and easy to work into different styles.  Virgin Brazilian hair extensions are therefore quite durable and can be styled many times.  If you ask the experts, they will tell you that Brazilian weaves are one of the best in the world. Brazilian weaves are known for their beautiful bounce, full body, texture, and versatility. Also, as mentioned earlier, Brazilian weaves are available in straight, wavy, or curly textures. However, compared to the other weaves, Brazilian straight weaves are not super straight but tend to have some light waves in the weaves. This hair holds curls better than Indian Hair, and it is very soft and smooth to the touch. Brazilian hair extensions do not require a lot of maintenance. Brazilian weaves can also handle color extremely well. If you buy Virgin Brazilian hair, you are able to color the hair to any color your heart desires! But keep in mind that you should always treat your Brazilian hair extensions the same way you treat your natural hair. Pour some TLC into your Brazilian weave and you will have it for years to come. Brazilian hair is good for all hairstyles as well – be it short curls, straight, ponytail. The hair will not disappoint.
Peruvian weaves are similar to Brazilian weaves in that they are also quite dense and full.  However, Peruvian hair is not as soft, but is rather coarse.  Some clients like this coarse feel as it blends better with their natural hair.  Indian weaves are usually extremely light and airy and almost thin.  They are great if you have thin hair yourself.  While both Brazilian and Peruvian hair tend to have a natural wavy look, Malaysian hair usually comes in straight and sleek style.  Compared to Brazilian weaves, Malaysian hair is also darker.
All of these different weaves are offered by Volure and are all virgin.  This means when you buy a Brazilian hair piece or any other hair piece, you are getting the best hair available in the market that is guaranteed to last you.
So what hairstyles are possible with Brazilian hair?
Brazilian Weave Hairstyles
Brazilian hair is good for all hairstyles. Classical straight Brazilian hairstyles are here to stay and keep getting more popular by the say.  Check out our straight weave hairstyles from different clients.  The straight Brazilian hairstyle is very easy to install and maintain. All one needs is a Tangle Teezer and a weekly wash.  Longer Brazilian hair weave styles may require more effort to maintain - however we provide you with all the tips and tricks to be able to handle this.  We recommend the straight styles, especially in shorter lengths, for clients who are new to the weave game and want no hassle maintenance.
Curly weave hairstyles are also quite popular.  Given that Brazilian hair holds curls quite well, you will see the hair used to achieve many curly styles.  Maintenance of curls is usually more involved but by no means impossible. Remember to wash your hair and use curl definers (such as those from Moroccanoil) to get the best outcome.
Caring for Brazilian Hair
Washing you weave once per week is very important, not only for your hygiene but also for the durability of the hair. Washing your Brazilian hairpiece is very easy.
Step 1. Divide your hair in 2 sections running from the middle of your forehead to the middle part of your nape (as if you are pulling them in 2 ponytails).
Step 2. Using your Tangle Teezer or paddle brush, gently detangle the Brazilian weave if there are any tangles or knots. Repeat until all knots have been taken care of
Step 3. Wet the hair in a downwards motion. Start from the top of the weft where the tracks are to the ends of the weave. Use warm water. Try not to overly wet the tracks beneath your weave
Step 4. When the weave is wet enough, apply moisturizing shampoo in a downwards motion. This helps remove any excess oils and dirt from your weave. Rinse, and repeat the process until you are satisfied.
Step 5. Now apply conditioner to the hair piece – again in a downward motion. Leave the conditioner for 10 – 15 minutes and then rinse. Rinse the conditioner very thoroughly. Here you can opt to apply the leave-in conditioner and then dry the hair without rinsing, choice is yours
Step 6. Let your virgin Brazilian hair air dry – you can sit under the sun or under a dryer. In case your tracks got wet, use a blow dryer and dry the hair completely before going out or to bed.
